Who I think the Primary target market is:
I think that the primary target market for Paranormal Activity 3 is females predominantly between the ages of 16 – 30. I think that females are the primary audience for Paranormal Activity 3 because of the film being based around a family and their home.  Stereotypically females are associated with homes and the home life of a family. 

I think that the psychographic that the market audience is, is Explorers. I think this because of the energy and adrenaline that is given by the horror and like to feel an instant effect of the films genre. This is shown by the jump scares that are used and the mystery of finding out about the supernatural presence in the house.


The demographics of E (which only represents the students in the category), C1 and B would watch Paranormal Activity 3 because students would use this as a form of entertainment and use it for its adrenaline rush it gives at certain points in the stories narrative and also would be recommend it by their friends at school. C1 that includes the people such as office juniors and retail workers, these may be a young audience in their early 20s that want excitement and too explore. Then in demographic B this includes creative and media personnel that may watch the film to gather creative and media influences from the film for their future work or for reviews. 


Who I think the secondary target market is:


The secondary audience to this film would be boyfriends or partners of the females that predominantly watch the film. This is because they would want to or be made to go to the film with them.
